Some results on the topology of four-manifolds with nonnegative curvature (Q1815229)

In this paper we study the topology of compact four-dimensional manifolds with nonnegative curvature, both sectional and Ricci. We apply the Weitzenböck formula to conclude that the manifold is definite whenever one of the components of the Weyl tensor (with respect to the splitting for the Hodge *-operator) is sufficiently bounded in terms of the scalar curvature.
