This excessively extended paper advocates the known dimension and signature \((3+1)\) of the space by using group-theoretic results as well as plausibility arguments. The views expressed by the author are highly conservative and based on very restrictive assumptions, like the invariance of specific laws under rotations, etc. It is then argued that nonrelativistic quantum mechanics and classical physics are neither complete nor consistent theories. In my opinion this paper does not bring new scientific results, and some of the views presented by the author have slender scientific support. Author's view that ``higher dimensional spaces are not possible'' is rather questionable as far as well established physical theories make use of such higher dimensional spaces (obviously with proper geometries).
