The author gives a discussion of certain known results (Theorems 1-11) concerning normal functions and Bloch functions defined in the unit disk. The relation \(f(z)=\exp (\zeta \cdot h(z))\), where \(\zeta\) is a constant, is considered. It is known that if h(z) is a Bloch function, then f(z) is normal. An example is given (Theorem 12) where f(z) is normal, but h(z) is not a Bloch function.
