The authors study the existence and uniqueness of bounded solutions of the difference equation \[ x(n+1)=A(n) x(n)+B(n) x(\sigma_1(n))+f(n,x(n),x(\sigma_2(n))), \] where \(A\) and \(B\) are sequences of matrices over the natural numbers, \(\sigma_1\) and \(\sigma_2\) are functions that map the argument of \(x(n)\) to the so-called advanced states and meet the condition \(\sigma_1(n),\sigma_2(n) \geq n+1\), and \(f\) is a continuous function satisfying a Lipschitz condition. It is shown that under quite involved conditions there always exists a solution in a certain ball. The results are illustrated for some scalar difference equations.
