    The subject of the paper is the third order equation \[ y^{3\Delta} = f(t,y,y^\Delta,y^{2\Delta}) \] together with three-point conjugate boundary conditions \[ y(t_i) = y_i, \quad i = 1,2,3. \] The concept of time scales with the so called delta derivative \({}^{\Delta}\) allows to consider this problem on an arbitrary closed subset of the reals, thus unifying and extending the usual continuous or discrete framework for ``dynamic equations''. The main part of the paper contains an existence and uniqueness result for the above boundary value problem. The proof is based on a Brouwer type theorem and shooting methods.
