An extension of the discrete sources method (DSM) is suggested to the case where an axially symmetric particle is stimulated by P/S-polarized unradiating waves. The authors show that the model based on Mie theory doesn't work in this situation. The analysis of the scattering particles with the different indices of refraction is carried out. The scattering properties of the particles in two situations are compared: in the case of unradiating waves and in the case of linear polarized plane wave from the air medium.
