General aim of this paper is to extend classical boundary properties of the holomorphic functions of one complex variable, such as Fatou theorem on the unit disk, to the solutions of complex vector fields in \(\mathbb{R}^2_{x,y}\). Let us report the main result of the authors. Consider \(L= \partial_x+ a(x,y) \partial_y\), where \(a(x,y)\) is complex-valued and smooth in a rectangle \((-a,a)\times (-b,b)\). Assume \(L\) is locally solvable, i.e. \(a(x,y)\) satisfies the well-known (P) condition of Nirenberg and Trèves. Let \(f\) be a continuous weak solution of \(Lf=0\) in \((-a,a) \times (0,b)\). Assume there is a positive integer \(N\) such that for each compact subset \(K\) of \((-a,a)\) we have \[ \int_K \bigl|f(x,y) \bigr|dx= O(y^{-N}). \] Suppose \(f|_{y=0} \in\mathbb{L}^p (-a,a)\) for some \(1\leq p\leq \infty\). Then for any \(a',a\) the norms of the traces \(f(\cdot,y)\) in \(\mathbb{L}^p (-a',a')\) are uniformly bounded as \(y\to 0+\).
