The graded ring of Hermitian modular forms of degree 2 (Q1858615)

Freitag studied the Hermitian modular forms of degree 2 associated with the Gaussian field and constructed six generators of the graded ring of symmetric forms. In this beautiful paper, the author gives generators of the graded ring including non-symmetric forms. There are seven generators, which are Freitag's six symmetric generators and one skew-symmetric form of weight 34. The method is based on the estimation of the dimension of Jacobi forms appearing in the Fourier-Jacobi development of Hermitian modular forms. He constructs the skew-symmetric generator by using the theory of generalized Rankin-Cohen differential operators, investigated by Ibukiyama.
