Harmonic twistor formalism and transgression on hyperkähler manifolds (Q1864904)

The authors give a local construction of the fourth-order transgression of the Chern character form of an arbitrary vector bundle endowed with a self-dual connection, on a four-dimensional hyper-Kähler manifold. Their construction is based upon the harmonic twistor formalism. They show that the resulting expression is remarkably given in terms of the determinant of the \(\bar{\partial}\)-operator defined on fibers of the twistor fibration.
