In this paper some lower continuity results are proved for functionals of the form \[ v \in L^1(\Omega,\mathbb R^d) \rightarrow \int_{\Omega} f(x,v(x)) \,dx \] in the framework of the \(A\)-quasiconvexity, introduced by \textit{B. Dacorogna} [Weak continuity and weak lower semi-continuity of nonlinear functionals. Lect. Notes Math. 922 (1982; Zbl 0484.46041)]. In particular, by assuming that \(f\) is \(A\)-quasiconvex and satisfies some growth conditions, for \((v_n)\subset L^1(\Omega,\mathbb R^d)\), belonging to the kernel of the operator \(A\) and converging in the sense of measure to some \(\mathbb R^d\)-valued Radon measure \(\lambda\), the following inequality holds: \[ \int_{\Omega} f\biggl(x,\frac{d\lambda}{d{L}^N}\biggr) \,dx \leq \liminf \int_{\Omega} f(x,v_n)\,dx \] The proof is based on some blow up arguments. The introduction of the paper is very interesting for the particularly well done historical presentation of the subject and its relevance in continuum mechanics and in electromagnetic partial differential equations are pointed out.
