      The authors study, in the space \(L_2[0,\infty)\), the operator \({L}\) specified by the differential expression \[ \ell u(x) \equiv -y''(x) -q(x) y(x), \quad q \in C[0,+\infty), \quad q : [0,+\infty) \to \mathbb{R}, \] and the boundary condition \[ y(0) \cos{\alpha} + y'(0) \sin{\alpha} = 0, \quad \alpha \in \mathbb{R}. \] The authors obtain asymptotic expansions of the density of the spectral measure of the operator \({L}\).
