New approach to multiplicative functions on arithmetical semigroups (Q1901216)

The authors prove theorems about asymptotic mean values and moments of multiplicative functions with absolute values at most one, defined on an additive arithmetical semigroup \(G\). This is done subject to an ``axiom'' about the number of elements of degree \(n\) in \(G\), and the proofs adapt earlier ideas of \textit{H. Daboussi} and \textit{K.-H.
