On Auslander-Reiten components for group algebras (Q1903705)

Let \(K\) be a field of characteristic \(p>0\), let \(G\) be a finite group, let \(B\) be a block of the group algebra \(KG\), and let \(\Theta\) be a component of the stable Auslander-Reiten quiver of \(B\). The author shows that the tree class of \(\Theta\) must be \(A_\infty\) whenever \(B\) has wild representation type. For blocks of finite and tame representation type, the possible tree classes of \(\Theta\) are also known, by earlier work.
