In ``Nonstandard implication algebras'' [Mat. Vesn. 3(16)(31), 403-411 (1979; Zbl 0456.06002)], this reviewer presented a very small portion of the nonstandard theory of ordered sets in the form of the nonstandard theory of meet semi-lattices. In this interesting paper, the author presents a nonstandard theory of ordered sets in general. The author uses a Robinson-style nonstandard analysis. He first presents a generalization of the form of what he calls the general theory of transcendents. He applies this theory of ordered sets \((X, \leq)\) and includes an interesting incomparability relation \(\parallel\), where \(\alpha \parallel \beta\) iff \(\alpha\not\leq \beta\) and \(\beta \not\leq \alpha\). Applications are related to general ordered sets, the interval topology and the completion for a linearly ordered set.
