Subadditivity of states on quantum logics (Q1907595)

The author first gives a few equivalent definitions of subadditivity of a state on orthomodular lattices and then he compares similar properties in orthomodular posets. Two theorems are presented asserting that an orthomodular poset satisfying some state subadditivity conditions is a Boolean algebra. These results generalize a theorem given by \textit{S. Pulmannová} and \textit{V. Majerník} [J. Math. Phys. 33, No. 6, 2173-2178 (1992; Zbl 0771.03022)]\ and a theorem of \textit{V. Müller}, \textit{P. Pták} and \textit{J. Tkadlec} [Int. J. Theor. Phys. 31, No. 5, 843-854 (1992; Zbl 0772.03031)].
