Hypergeometric identities of Cayley and Orr types: Some alternative approaches (Q1914656)

In an earlier paper Montaldi and Srivastava gave a new proof of the classic hypergeometric identities of Cayley and Orr, which avoided the use both of differential equations and of relations between generalized hypergeometric series. The object of the present paper is to present a similar analysis of the various other identities of Cayley and Orr types.
