      Let \(K\) be an algebraic number field and \({\mathfrak O}_K\) the ring of integers of \(K\). Let \(f : X \to \text{Spec} ({\mathfrak O}_K)\) be a stable arithmetic surface over \({\mathfrak O}_K\) of genus \(g \geq 2\). In this short note, we will prove that if \(f\) has a reducible geometric fiber, then \((\omega^{Ar}_{X/{\mathfrak O}_K} \cdot \omega^{Ar}_{X/{\mathfrak O}_K}) \geq \log 2/6(g - 1)\).
