Four nearly mini-max rational approximation formulae for computing the positive zeros of the Bessel function \(J_0 (x)\) are developed, with the relative errors ranging from \((2\cdot 2)\cdot 10^{-4}\) (for the first) to \((1\cdot 6)\cdot 10^{-15}\) (for the fourth).
