Let \(f(z)= \sum_{n\geq 1} a_ne^{2\pi inz}\) be a Hecke eigenform of weight \(m+1/2\), and let \(g(z)= \sum_{n\geq 1} b_ne^{2\pi inz}\) be the corresponding even-weight form in the sense of \textit{G. Shimura} [Ann. Math., II. Ser. 97, 440-481 (1973; Zbl 0266.10022)]. If \(n=q^2r\) with square-free \(r\), then \(a_n\) can be expressed in terms of \(a_r\) and \(\{b_j\}\). In this case, it was proved by \textit{J.-L. Waldspurger} [J. Math. Pures Appl., IX. Ser. 60, 375-484 (1981; Zbl 0468.10014)] that \(a^2_r\) is essentially proportional to \[ \sum_{n\geq i} \overline \varphi_r(n) b_nn^{-s} |_{s=m}, \] where \(\varphi_r\) is a character obtained from the character of \(f\) and the quadratic character \((r/ \cdot)\). In this paper, the author generalizes Waldspurger's relation in the case where \(f\) and \(g\) are nonholomorphic Hilbert modular forms over a totally real number field.
