    Based on the analogy between the nonlinear Hodge equations \(d \omega=0\), \(\delta (\rho (Q) \omega)=0\), where \(Q=Q (\omega)= \langle \omega, \omega \rangle\) and \(\omega\) is a \(p\)-form, and the classical Hodge theory \((Q\equiv 1)\), the author introduces here a gauge-invariant Hodge-de Rham system \(D_AF_A =0\), \(D^*_A (\rho (Q)F_A) =0\), where \(F_A\) takes values in the Lie algebra \({\mathcal G}\) associated with the Lie group \(G\) of a vector bundle \(X\), \(A\) is a connection on \(X\) with curvature \(F_A= dA+ {1\over 2} [A,A]\). For \(\rho (Q) \equiv 1\), these equations degenerate to the Yang-Mills equations \(D_AF_A =0\), \(D^*_A F_A=0\). The main result of the author asserts that over a suitable domain in \(\mathbb{R}^n\), a weak solution \(F_A\in L^p\), \(p> {1\over 2} n\), for \(\rho (Q(F_A))\) satisfying \(0< \kappa \leq \rho^2 (Q)+2 \cdot \rho(Q) \rho'(Q)\) \(Q\leq N<\infty\), is equivalent via a continuous gauge transformation to a Hölder continuous solution.
