Consider the third-order similarity differential equation \[ f''' + f f'' +{g}(f') =0, \] where \({g}\) is a locally Lipschitz continuous function. The paper is concerned with the existence, uniqueness and boundedness of solutions satisfying the boundary conditions \[ f(0)=a,\;f'(0)=b \text{ and }f'(t)\to \lambda \text{ as }t \to +\infty, \] where \(\lambda\) is a root of \(g\).
