Using the Lefschetz and dual Lefschetz operators, the authors introduce new types of cohomologies on symplectic manifolds. As these cohomologies commute with the Lefschetz decomposition, they induce primitive cohomologies on the space of primitive forms. The elements of the primitive cohomologies are put in correspondence with coisotropic submanifolds. In the context of four-dimensional Kodaira-Thurston manifold, the different existing cohomologies are compared.
