In this paper the authors studied several boundary conditions for differential forms on symplectic manifolds with boundary. These boundary conditions heavily depend on the symplectic structure. With these conditions, the authors were able to write down the elliptic boundary value problems for symplectic Laplacians and hence establish Hodge theories for the cohomologies of primitive forms. They also defined a relative version of the primitive cohomologies and related them with Lefschetz maps on manifolds with boundary. In the last section of the paper, the authors calculated explicitly the (both absolute and relative) primitive cohomologies on some Kähler manifolds with boundary, which turns out to be very different from the de Rham cohomologies. The article is well explained and carefully written, making it a pleasant read.
