The authors consider Anderson-type models with matrix-valued potential as well as finitely supported single site potential. These models have in common that they are generalizations of the discrete Anderson model where the single-site potential is an operator of finite rank greater than one, providing internal structure to the single-site terms. By generalization of \textit{B. Simon}'s argument [Rev. Math. Phys. 6, No. 5a, 1183--1185 (1994; Zbl 0841.60081)] for the discrete Anderson model, almost sure simplicity of eigenvalues for the considered models is shown.
