Applying optimal transport methods, the authors prove the uniqueness of compactly supported weak solutions describing the time-evolution of a relativistic Vlasov-Darwin system. The considered collisionless plasma consists of charged particles mutually interacting only through the electromagnetic field they induce. The applied procedure is an extension to Vlasov-Poisson systems known in the literature.
