A quiver is an oriented graph \(Q\). The set \(I\in \mathbb{N}\) marks its vertices, \(h,t:Q\rightarrow I\;\) are maps for heads and tails of the arrows \( a\in Q\). Its representation is a collection \(\underline{W}\) of vector spaces \(W_{i},i\in I,\) and linear maps \(\phi _{a}:W_{t(a)}\rightarrow W_{h(a)},a\in Q.\;\)The vector space of representations of \(Q\) in \(\underline{W}\) is \( \oplus _{a\in Q}\mathrm{Hom}(W_{t(a)};W_{h(a)}).\) There are fixed isomorphisms \( W_{i}\simeq \mathbb{C}^{\alpha _{i}},i\in I\). A natural quadratic Poisson bi-vector field \(\Pi \in \Lambda ^{2}TRep(Q,\underline{W})\) can be defined by \[ \Pi ((C_{a}),(D_{a}))|_{(X_{a})}=\sum R_{abcd}\operatorname{tr}(X_{a}C_{b}X_{c}D_{d}-X_{a}D_{b}X_{x}C_{d}), \tag{1.1} \] where \(R_{abcd}\) are scalars and the sum is over all arrows \(a,b,c,d\in Q,\) such that \(ab^{\ast }cd^{\ast }\) is a closed path (asterisk denotes here the reverse arrow). The condition which the scalars \(R_{abcd}\) must satisfy in order for \(\Pi \) to be a Poisson structure is the associative Yang-Baxter equation \[ r_{12}r_{23}+r_{31}r_{12}+r_{23}r_{31}=0 \tag{1.2} \] for an appropriate associative algebra depending on the quiver \(Q.\) In this substantial article, the author shows that quadratic double Poisson structures on path algebras correspond to solutions of the associative Yang-Baxter equation (ref {1.2}). Within the paper many examples are presented of noncommutative and of the corresponding commutative Poisson brackets. The author also considers generalized Kronecker quivers and their close relation to moduli spaces of sheaves. In Section 7 a quadratic Poisson structure for the generalized Kronecker quiver with 3 arrows is studied, obtained from a solution of the associative Yang-Baxter equation. The author also shows that the induced Poisson structures on the moduli spaces of representations is generically nondegenerate and describes the corresponding symplectic form, allowing to find generic leaves of the Poisson structure. The author's remark 7.3 about the constructed Poisson structures and trigonometric and rational Calogero-Moser systems looks also very interesting.
