The Kasparov theory for commutative C*-algebras may be constructed on using correspondence came up in 1980s, but detailed proofs appeared only recently and in special cases. In this paper an equivariant construction of topological equivariant index maps for equivariant families of Dirac operators \(D_f\in KK^{\mathcal G}_*(C_0(X),C_0(Y))\) with respect to a groupoid \(\mathcal G\) with proper action on \(X\) and fiberwise smoothly with respect to an equivariant map \(f: X \to Y\), requires a factoring of a general equivariant smooth map \(f: X \to Y\) through: the zero sections of \(\mathcal G\)-equivariant vector bundles, open embeddings \(X\) onto \(|V|\) in the total space \(|E|\) of \(\mathcal G\) equivariant vector space \(E\) over \(Y\), which induces a *-homomorphism \(C_0(|V|) \to C_0(|E|)\) and finally, \(\mathcal G\)-equivariant vector bundle projection on \(Y\) . The Kasparov product in KK-theory of these three ingredients is the element \(f! = D_f \in KK^{\mathcal G}_*(C_0(X),C_0(Y))\), which are the equivariant families of Dirac operators \(D_f\in KK^{\mathcal G}_*(C_0(X),C_0(Y))\) (Theorem 6.1). This paper prepares for a description of bivariant K-theory by geometric cycles as in \textit{H. Emerson} and \textit{R. Meyer} [Adv. Math. 225, No.~5, 2883--2919 (2010; Zbl 1207.19003)].
