Their main result of this article is that a natural transformation provided by the wrong-way functoriality for normally non-singular maps of \textit{H. Emerson} and \textit{R. Meyer} [Adv. Math. 225, No.~5, 2840--2882 (2010; Zbl 1203.19004)] is an isomorphism from their topological equivariant, bivariant K-theory for locally compact spaces \(X\) and \(Y\) with a proper groupoid action, defined by the set (a graded abelian group) of equivalence classes of correspondences from \(X\) to \(Y\), of normally non-singular maps, bordism, and Thom modification (which is a replacement of the vector bundle modification of Paul Baum), to the equivariant Kasparov K-theory, if there is a duality isomorphism, based on Poincaré duality.
