The asymptotic stabilizability of nonlinear cascade systems of the form \[ \dot x= f(x,y), \qquad \dot y= g(y,u) \] has been largely studied as far as the local aspects are concerned. In the present paper, the authors exploit certain homogeneity assumptions about the vector fields \(f(x,0)\) in order to obtain a global stabilization result. The authors consider in particular the case of partially linear systems.
