This is a companion paper to the paper of \textit{Michael Rapoport} [Manuscr. Math. 101, No. 2, 153-166 (2000; see the preceding review)]. Here the author gives another proof of Rapoport's positivity result (of the non-zero coefficients of the Satake matrix) in the case of a split group by reducing it to a result of \textit{R. Dabrowski} [J. Algebra 167, 704-723 (1994; Zbl 0836.22014)].
