This paper is a reprint from Sci. Rep. Tôhoku Univ., I. Ser. 34, 160-167 (1950) and deals with the static spherically symmetric solutions of Einstein's field equations in the case of an ideal fluid as matter. Two different methods for integration of the field equations are discussed.
