The blow-up rate for a coupled system of semilinear heat equations with nonlinear boundary conditions (Q1972452)

Blow-up of solutions of a weakly coupled parabolic system is studied. The coupling occurs in the source terms in the equations and also in the nonlinear boundary conditions. Under several restrictions on the eight exponents involved and on initial data, it is shown that solutions blow up on the boundary with the rate determined only by the source terms in the equations. The method of proof relies on modifications of techniques which were used before for simpler systems.
