This is a very elegant article. The results on shocks in isentropic Navier-Stokes equations are a very nice progress from the classical ``Burgers shock''. Specifically, the authors study the nonlinear stability of viscous shocks (sharp kink transition) in the isentropic Navier-Stokes equations, which take the traveling wave form. By utilizing a nice change of coordinates, the energy method can be applied to establish the nonlinear stability -- a very nice piece of work.
