Some geometric classifications of all connected Lie groups of dimensions at most 3 with left-invariant Riemannian metrics are considered. The known quasi-isometric classification of such Lie groups is compared with bi-Lipschitz classification. Then the notion of ``groups may be made isometric'' (which are isometric for some left-invariant Riemannian metrics) is investigated. It is proved that quasi-isometrically equivalent simply connected Lie groups may be made isometric. Also it is shown that the property ``groups may be made isometric'' is not transitive. Lists of the pairs of at most \(n\)-dimensional Lie groups, \(n\leq3\) are presented which (a) may be made isometric, (b) are bi-Lipschitz equivalent, (c) are quasi-isometrically homeomorphic, (d) are quasi-isometric. Also it is proved that if two non-isomorphic simply connected 3-dimensional Lie groups are quasi-isometric, then they may be made isometric to one of the eight Thurston geometries.
