A model of solid tumor angiogenesis consisting of chemotaxis-convection equations for two cell densities and the concentration of a chemical is studied in two-dimensional domains. Global-in-time existence of solutions is proved under smallness assumptions on the initial data. Moreover, diffusive long time asymptotics is shown.
