Let $(A, m)$ be a Cohen-Macaulay local ring of dimension $d$ and let $I$ be an $m$-primary ideal. Let $G$ be the associated graded ring of $A$ with respect to $I$ and let $R = A[It,t^{-1}]$ be the extended Rees ring of $A$ with respect to $I$. Notice $t^{-1}$ is a nonzero divisor on $R$ and $R/t^{-1}R = G$. So, we have Bockstein operators $\beta^i : H^i_{ G_+} (G)(-1)\to H^{i+1}_{G_+}(G)$ for $i \geq 0$. Since $\beta^{i+1} (+1)\circ \beta^i = 0$, we have Bockstein cohomology modules $BH^i(G)$ for $i = 0,\dots,d$. \par The author introduced the notion of Bockstein cohomology and then discussed some of its properties. Some properties of the $R(I)$-module $L^I (M) = \bigoplus_{n \ge 0} M/I^{n+1}M$ are discussed which are needed for this paper. This module is used to reconstruct the Bockstein operators. \par A condition which characterizes when $BH^0(G_I (M)) = 0$ is given. Also, the effect on Bockstein operators modulo an element $x^*$ which is $G_I (M)$-regular is discussed. Finally, a version of Sally descent for Bockstein cohomology modules is proved.
