Let \(M\) be a smooth manifold and let \(T_pM\) be the tangent space of \(M\) at a point \(p\). A continuous \(m\)-dimensional tangent subbundle (a distribution) \(E\) is a continuous family of \(m\)-dimensional linear subspaces \(E_p\subset T_pM,\;p\in M\). A distribution \(E\) is called integrable if there exists a \(C^1\) submanifold \(N\) of \(M\) such that \(T_pN=E_p\) for any \(p\in M\). The problem of integrability of \(C^1\) distributions was studied in classic works of the nineteenth century. Here the authors obtain conditions of integrability (and unique integrability) for continuous distributions.
