\textit{A. Ram} and \textit{J. Ramagge} [in: A tribute to C. S. Seshadri. A collection of articles on geometry and representation theory. Basel: Birkhäuser. 428--466 (2003; Zbl 1063.20004)] have presented an automorphism and Clifford theory on affine Hecke algebras. The work under review extends the results to cyclotomic Hecke algebras and rational Cherednik algebras. In this article, definitions and basic properties of the related groups and algebras are introduced. The author gives an analogous conclusion as in [loc. cit.] for cyclotomic Hecke algebras and observed the Clifford operator is the inverse of Ariki's shift operator on the irreducible representations of cyclotomic Hecke algebras. He also generalized the Clifford operators to rational Cherednik algebras of type \(G(r, 1, n)\), and proved that the subalgebra invariant under the Clifford operator is a rational Cherednik algebra of type \(G(r, p, n)\). The commutating relations of restriction functor and Knizhnik-Zamolodchikov functor, and of Clifford functor and Knizhnik-Zamolodchikov functor are obtained.
