This paper deals with the following boundary value problem (bvp): \[ \begin{aligned} Pu &= f\quad\text{in }\Omega,\\ B^ju &= g_j\quad\text{on }\Gamma=\partial\Omega,\quad j=1,2,\dots,\Gamma,\end{aligned}\tag{1} \] where the data \(f\), \(g_j\) belong to appropriate Gelfand-Shilov spaces and \(P\), \(B^j\) are differential operators whose symbols belong to the SG class. (Its definition goes back at least to \textit{C. Parenti} [Ann. Mat. Pura Appl., IV. Ser. 93, 359--389 (1972; Zbl 0291.35070) and to \textit{C. M. Cordes}, Pac. J. Math. 63, 357--365 (1976; Zbl 0335.10024)].) The authors consider two different cases for \(\Omega\subset\mathbb{R}^n\), namely, \(\Omega\) is the complement of some compact set in \(\mathbb{R}^n\) with Gevrey boundary \(\Gamma\) or \(\Omega\) is a half space. The main results state that if the data of the SG elliptic bvp (1) are Gelfand-Shilov functions -- or Gevrey on the bounded boundary -- then so is the solution \(u\). The latter results are given in Theorem 21 and Theorem 25 and are obtained by using classical results about Gevrey regularity of elliptic bvp and the Caldéron projectors approach. Moreover for the class \(\psi\)do introduced by \textit{M. Caffiello} et al. [J. Funct. Anal. 237, No. 2, 634--654 (2006; Zbl 1104.35049)] a kind of transmission property for Gelfand-Shilov functions is proved.
