The author studies some delta-convex mappings defined for real functions and then extends the mappings to normed linear spaces. Furthermore, the results of \textit{D. Ş. Marinescu} and \textit{M. Monea} [Ann. Math. Sil. 32, 263--274 (2018; Zbl 1400.26023)] are obtained and proved without any convexity assumption.
