The author studies certain weighted Sobolev estimates of a homotopy operator related to \(\bar\partial\) on bounded strictly pseudoconvex domains with \(C^2\) boundary in \(\mathbb{C}^n\). The homotopy formula was first introduced by \textit{X. Gong} [Math. Ann. 374, No. 1--2, 841--880 (2019; Zbl 1432.32049)]. The author extends this result by considering \(\varphi,\bar\partial\varphi\in W^{1,1}\). He shows that the following still holds \[ \varphi=\bar\partial H_q\varphi+H_{q+1}\bar\partial\varphi,\qquad 1\le q\le n \] \[ \varphi=H_0\varphi+H_1\bar\partial\varphi,\qquad q=0 \] in the distribution sense, when \(\varphi\) and \(\bar\partial\varphi\) are in a suitable Sobolev space, where \(H_q\) is the constructed homotopy operator on the \(q\)-th level. Based on the homotopy formula and integral representation, the author is able to show some certain weighted Sobolev estimates of the homotopy operator \(H_q\). As a result, he obtains a solution operator to the \(\bar\partial\)-equation, which gains almost \(\frac{1}{2}\)-derivative in regularity in a suitable sense.
