This article is an advance in the regularity theory of the \(\overline\partial\)-equation on a bounded strictly pseudoconvex domain \(D\) in \(\mathbb{C}^{n}\) whose boundary has minimal smoothness, namely, class \(C^{2}\). The author proves, in particular, that if \(0 \leq q \leq n\) and \(r \geq 1\) and \(\varphi\) is a \(\overline\partial\)-closed \((0,q)\)-form lying in the Lipschitz space \(\Lambda_{r}(\overline{D})\), then there is a \((0,q-1)\)-form \(u\) lying in \(\Lambda_{r+1/2}(\overline{D})\) such that \(\overline\partial u=\varphi\). \par More generally, the author constructs a homotopy operator \(H_{q}\) when \(1\le q\le n\) such that \(\varphi = \overline\partial H_{q} \varphi + H_{q+1} \overline\partial \varphi\) for every \((0,q)\)-form \(\varphi\) and proves that if \(r\ge 1\) and \(r+1/2\) is not an integer, then the \(C^{r+1/2}(\overline{D})\) norm of \(H_{q} \varphi\) is bounded above by a constant times the \(C^{r}(\overline{D})\) norm of \(\varphi\). The proof is based on modifying a method of \textit{I. Lieb} and \textit{R. M. Range} [Math. Ann. 253, 145--164 (1980; Zbl 0441.32007)] through some technical innovations, notably a regularized Henkin-Ramírez map.
