The paper studies hypergeometric equations of the form \[ (z\frac{d}{dz}+\alpha_1)(z\frac{d}{dz}+\alpha_2)(z\frac{d}{dz}+\alpha_3)y= \frac{d}{dz}(z\frac{d}{dz}+\beta_1-1)(z\frac{d}{dz}+\beta_2-1)y \] with a finite projective monodromy group \(\mathrm{PSL}(2,\mathbb F_7)\). The author shows that there are only six different (up to projective and contiguity equivalence) cases of such equations and indicates their parameters explicitly. He also studies in detail the cases when the simple change of independent variable reduces the original equation to an equation with a cyclic or dihedral Galois group. As a result, explicit formulas for such transformations are obtained (Darboux evaluations in the author's terminology, see [the author, Kyushu J. Math. 67, No. 2, 249--280 (2013; Zbl 1279.33007)]).
