Beginning by introducing Darboux polynomials, this article generalizes the nonlinear autonomous system of Ordinary Differential Equations (ODE) to a non-autonomous system in the sense that any homogeneous Darboux polynomial for the autonomous system is shown to be a Darboux polynomial (with a modified factor) for the non-autonomous system. Examples for: (i) the 2-dimensional system and (ii) the 4-dimensional Lotka Volterra systems are given to illustrate that the generalization preserves the integrability of the ODE. Motivated by \textit{H. Christodoulidi} et al. [J. Comput. Dyn. 6, No. 2, 223--237 (2019; Zbl 1434.37036)] and \textit{T. E. Kouloukas} et al. [J. Phys. A, Math. Theor. 49, No. 22, Article ID 225201, 13 p. (2016; Zbl 1355.34032)], it is shown in this article that both Liouville integrability and superintegrability are preserved for the Lotka Volterra systems under the studied generalizations. In particular, if the system has an even number of equations then it is shown to be both superintegrable and Liouville integrable. However, in case the system is odd dimensional, it is unclear whether a Hamiltonian exists. The obtained results can be extended only to certain class of Hamiltonian systems.
