Twisted reality and the second-order condition (Q2028546)

The finite-dimensional real spectral triple of the standard model satisfies a ``second-order'' condition. It resembles a property called ``Hodge'' condition of the spectral triple of a closed oriented Riemannian manifold built from differential forms. In this paper, the authors prove that the above conditions are preserved under the product of two unital real spectral triples. This paper includes a gentle review of above notions and an example of a spectral triple on the \(2\)-torus.
