The index of exceptional symmetric spaces (Q2039487)

In this paper, the authors deduce a new method for the calculation of the index of classical symmetric spaces taking $r>5$ using slice representations that are similar to the developed by the first two authors [J. Differ. Geom. 104, No. 2, 187--217 (2016; Zbl 1356.53054)] for $r=3,4,5$. In view of these method the authors mentioned Theorem 3.1 that play an eminent role in GRW-spacetime. The work of this paper is new and meaningful but it is similar to [loc. cit.].
