Let \(M\) be a smooth compact connected Riemannian manifold without boundary and \(\mathfrak{X}^1(M)\) be the space of vector fields over \(M\) endowed with the \(C^1\) topology. The main result states the following. The generic vector field \({X\in\mathfrak{X}^1(M)}\) that has at most finitely many sinks and sources will also have quasi-trivial \(C^1\)-centralizer, i.e., the set of \(C^1\)-diffeomorphisms that commutes with the flow generated by \(X\) consists only of reparametrization of the flow. The proof uses an adaptation for flows of the method due to \textit{ C. Bonatti} et al. [Publ. Math., Inst. Hautes Etud. Sci. 109, 185--244 (2009; Zbl 1177.37025)].
