Pre-Calabi-Yau structures play an important role in homological algebra, symplectic geometry, string topology, noncommutative geometry and even in topological quantum field theory. Roughly speaking, a pre-Calabi-Yau algebra can be regarded as a formal non-commutative Poisson structure on a non-compact algebra because it is a noncommutative analogue of a solution to the Maurer-Cartan equation for the Schouten bracket on polyvector fields. If pre-Calabi-Yau structures are regarded as noncommutative Poisson structures in the setting of formal noncommutative geometry, double Poisson algebras are the natural candidates for Poisson structures in the context of noncommutative differential geometry based on double derivations. A double Poisson algebra \(A\) is an algebra endowed with a bivector \(P\in (DA)_2\) such that \(\{P,P\}=0\), where \(\{\ ,\ \}\) is a kind of commutator. Besides their similarity with the commutative notion, double Poisson algebras turn out to be the appropriate noncommutative Poisson algebras since they satisfy the Kontsevich-Rosenberg principle. The studies of the relations between pre-Calabi-Yau algebras and double Poisson algebras have been of interest for some algebraists. For example, \textit{W.-K. Yeung} proved in [``Weak Calabi-Yau structures and moduli of representations'', Preprint, \url{arXiv:1802.05398}] that double Poisson structures on DG categories provide exampls of pre-Calabi-Yau structures. Given an associative algebra, Iyudu-Kontsevich-Vlassopoulos [\textit{N. Iyudu} et al., J. Algebra 567, 63--90 (2021; Zbl 1473.16023)] showed that there exists an explicit one-to-one correspondence between the class of non-graded double Poisson algebra and that of pre-Calabi-Yau algebras whose multiplications \(m\), vanish for \(i\in \{2,3\}\), such that \(m_2\) is the usual product of the square-zero extension \(A\otimes A^{\#}[d-1]\) and \(m_3\) sends \(A\otimes A^{\#}\otimes A\) to \(A\) and \(A^{\#}\otimes A\otimes A^{\#}\) to \(A^{\#}\). The main result of this paper is an extension of this correspondence to differential graded setting. The authors prove that there is an explicit bijection between nice \(d\)-pre-Calabi-Yau algebras and \(d\)-double Poisson differential graded algebras. They also show that this correspondence is functorial in a quite satisfactory way, giving rise to a partial functor from the category of \(d\)-double Poisson DG algebras to the partial category of \(d\)-pre-Calabi-Yau algebras.
