New proofs of infinitesimal rigidity of convex polyhedra and convex surfaces of revolution (Q2047142)

New proofs are presented for the following two theorems, relevant to the properties of infinitesimal rigidity of convex polyhedra and convex surfaces of revolution. Theorem 1. Strictly convex polyhedra with rigid faces are rigid with respect to infinitesimal hoggings of the first order. Theorem 2. Closed convex surface of revolution without flat parts is rigid.
