      The author concerns a two-fluid model \begin{align*} \partial_tn +\operatorname{div}(nu) & = 0,\\ \partial_t \rho +\operatorname{div}(\rho u) & = 0,\\ \partial_t((\rho + n)u) +\operatorname{div}((\rho + n)u\otimes u)+ \nabla P & =\mu\Delta u + (\mu + \lambda)\nabla \operatorname{div}u \end{align*} in a bounded three-dimensional domain \(\Omega\) of a class \(C^{2+\nu}\). The system is suplemented with the zero Dirichlet boundary condition for the velocity \(u\). The pressure \(P\) is a function of the densities \(n\) and \(\rho\) and it is assumed to be of the form \[ P(\rho,n) = \rho^\gamma + n^\Gamma.\] The main theorem of the article provides the existence of a weak solution. In order to reach this goal, the author needs to assume that \(\Gamma\geq \frac95\) and \(\gamma\geq \frac95\).
